Water & Sanitation Services Bannu Project Wing
The Project Wing of Water & Sanitation Services Bannu (WSSB) is responsible for the planning, execution, and supervision of all development projects related to water supply and sanitation infrastructure under WSSB’s jurisdiction. Operating under the leadership of the General Manager (GM), the department is supported by a technical team comprising managers, assistant managers, and sub-engineers.
Core Responsibilities
- Preparation of feasibility studies, designs, and cost estimates
- Development of PC-1 and PC-2 documents
- Support to the procurement section for bidding documents and bid evaluations
- Implementation, technical supervision, and progress reporting of ongoing projects
Funding Sources
The Projects & Works Department executes projects financed by multiple sources, including:
- Annual Development Program (ADP) of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
- MPA Grants
- Donor Agencies (grants and loans)
- Special Funds from other governmental or institutional sources

- 318 km of new drinking water supply pipelines installed
- 45 new/rehabilitated water supply schemes
- Construction of overhead water reservoirs
- Replacement of 100 outdated tube well pumping machines
- 67.92 km of sanitation works (street construction/rehabilitation)
- 75.21 km of drains constructed or rehabilitated
